The 17 year old, hazel eyed beauty was born on the French Caribbean island of Martinique. She entered the modeling world after winning the Elite Model Look contest in 2004 and after signing with Elite Paris the year after, Sigrid decided to focus on her studies and postponed her modeling career, but she is here now and it looks like she is here to stay.
This year she was signed by New York Model Management and has already featured in June's Teen Vogue, in an Italian Flair editorial and was proclaimed by Style.com as a future star. Sigrid also received the coveted spot of closing the Prada resort 2009 show. She opened for YSL, Alexander McQueen, Karl Lagerfeld and closed at Louis Vuitton. All that in her first runway season!
